Mrs. Kathleen Louise Hobart Monroe of Dothan died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Flowers Hospital. She was 93.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 12, 2011, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Reverend Freddie McCain and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Monroe was born November 3, 1919, Fountain Green, Illinois, the daughter of the late Howard Hobart and Marquerite McConnell Hobart. She was a member of the Northside Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Monroe, and son, Michael Monroe, and sister, Marilynn Steinmetz.
Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Monroe of Dothan. She leaves behind many dear friends and her care givers who have been with her a longtime, whom she loved very much, Pam, Katherine, Gayvon, Joan, and Erelene.
