Mrs. Kathy Henderson Carpenter



   Mrs. Kathy Henderson Carpenter, a resident of Ozark, died Thursday evening, June 23, 2022, at the age of 76.


   Funeral services for Mrs. Carpenter will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday, June 26, 2022, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Danny Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.


   Mrs. Carpenter was born February 13, 1946 in Blue Springs, Alabama to the late James Atlas Henderson and Tommie Carroll Henderson. She and her family moved to Ozark when she was very young. Mrs. Carpenter worked with the Phillips Van Heusen Company until her retirement in 2006. Kathy loved working in her flower garden and cooking for her family.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melzie Bridges.


   Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Terry Carpenter of Ozark; four daughters, Sonja Beasley (Allen), Senia Casey (Kenny), Misty Dunn (Cary), Amanda Sermino (Michael) all of Ozark; one sister, Patricia McDaniel of Brundidge; grandchildren, Ashley Beasley (Tara), Kaitlyn Casey, Kennon Casey, Kody Macko, Ian Macko, Caleb Dunn, Sara Dunn and Brody Goodman; one great grandchild, Grayton Beasley; her fur babies, Gabby and Charlie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
