Mrs. Lessie Bass of Taylor died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at her residence. She was 87.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houston County Boys and Girls Ranch.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

 

Survivors include four sisters, Blondell Deatherage and her husband, Virgil H. Sr., of Napier Field; Mary McNeil and her husband, Walter of Taylor; Betty Franklin and her husband, Jack of Dothan; Bobbie Whiddon and her husband, Marcus of Dothan; thirteen nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and greata-nephews.
