OZARK…Mrs. Linda Carole Lees, a resident of Milton, Florida, died early Saturday morning, December 5, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Ozark. She was 78.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Troy, Alabama with Pastor Zach Johnson officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home in Troy.

Mrs. Lees, daughter of the late Walter Robert Waller and Edna Mae Lambert Waller, was a native of Selma, Alabama. She was a graduate of Parrish High School and was a Majorette in the high school band. Mrs. Lees lived in various locations while her husband served in the United States Air Force. She was a former member of Hephzibah Baptist Church in Troy, Northside Baptist Church, Panama City, FL and Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. Following her husband’s retirement, they moved to Panama City, FL, Troy and then to Milton, Florida in 2008. In earlier years, she was employed with Gayfers in Panama City, FL. Mrs. Lees was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Eugene Lees (MSgt., United States Air Force, Retired); sister, Joanne Henley; brother, Walter Robert Waller and a daughter, Fran Butgereit.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Leah Richardson (Keith), Ozark; son, Harry David Lees, II, (Sarah Elizabeth), Milton, FL; step-children, Terry Lees and Tracey Manemann; sister, Sue Brown (Scotty), Dauphin Island, AL; three brothers, Gerald Waller (Ann), Dauphin Island, AL; Jack Waller (Janie), Goshen, Al, and Chuck Waller (Elaine), Lexington, SC; eleven grandchildren, Jeri Richardson, Casey Richardson, Mary Katherine Lees, Carter Lees, Stacey Renner, Eric Butgereit, Chris Butgereit, Brent Butgereit, Sam Butgereit, Patrick Butgereit, and Libby Butgereit; six great-grandchildren, Parker Robinson, Caegen Robinson, Payson Robinson, Callie Robinson, Ian Renner, and Allie Renner.
