DOTHAN….Mrs. Lisa Hatfield Smith, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Ozark), died early Wednesday morning, April 28, 2021 in a Columbus, Georgia hospital. She was 58.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2021 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.


            Mrs. Smith was born July 2, 1962 in Ozark, Alabama. She has lived in Dothan most of her lifetime. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Simmons.


            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Lakeisha Johnson (Henry), Lantana, FL and Stephanie Smith, Dothan; a son, Nathaniel Shawn Smith, Summerdale, AL; father, Jimmy Hatfield (Brenda), Panama City, FL; her mother, Patricia Annette Micheaux, Dothan; a sister, Fran Raybon (Tony), Dothan; two brothers, Kendall Hatfield (Anita), Ozark and Keith Hatfield, Headland; five grandchildren, Gianna, Grace, Tyler, Miley, and Addison.
