Mrs. Louise Patterson Waller of Dothan passed away Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013, unexpectedly in her home.She was 88.


 


Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Taylor Baptist Church Building Fund, 4156 Taylor Rd, Dothan, AL 36301.


 


Mrs. Waller was a lifelong resident of Dothan. She attended Taylor Baptist Church where she was a charter member and remained active in her Sunday School Class which was named after her. She was a resident of Hutto Towers for the last 15 years where she enjoyed socializing with the staff and other residents. Mrs. Waller was the daughter of the late Shelly and Willie Patterson.


 


She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy C. Waller and her three brothers.


 


Surviving relatives include her children, Gwen and Bill Pearce, Don and Becky Waller, Charlie Waller, Ronnie Waller and Angie and Mike Stinson; her grandchildren, Steve and Carmen Pearce, Alan and Anna Pearce, Cindy and Scott Odom, Ray and Kendal Waller, Ryan and Julie Waller, Robyn and Dan Aycock, Sandra Waller, Kristen and Mitch Welborn, Jennifer Waller, Evan Stinson and Jared Stinson. She also had twenty one beloved great-grandchildren. Mrs. Waller adored family and they considered it a privilege to have her as their Mother, Grandmother, and Granny. Louise is now dancing with Roy in Heaven. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
