Loyette Smith Hall passed away on Thursday June 1, 2017 at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness. She was 77.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Dennis Singletary officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until funeral time.
Mrs. Hall was born in Geneva County, Alabama on August 30, 1939 to the late Glennie Carl and Dollie Dove Kelly Smith. Mrs. Hall was a God fearing woman, a member of Devco Baptist Church, and an avid gardener. She enjoyed plants and working in her yards, sewing and especially fishing when she lived near the river. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Roy Manzie Hall, daughter, Kathy Barger, and son, Roy Nicky Hall.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Hall and wife Hope of Hartford, Al, two daughters and son-in-laws, Wanda Johnson and husband Johnny, Geneva, AL; Teresa Alred and husband David of Westville, FL. 6 grandchildren; Ashley Tucker (Matt), Nicky Tidwell (Denisha), Chip Johnson (Anne), Jerod Johnson (Masie), Justin Hall(Adrienne) and Josh Hall. Six great grandchildren and one brother, Luther Maulden (Cora) of San Antonio, Tx.
