Mrs. Luedell Bryant

Luedell Bryant of Midland City, AL passed away on May 2, 2020. She was 69 years old.

In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID 19 Virus, funeral services will be held for family at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Timothy Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Midland City Cemetery. A family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Bryant was born on July 27, 1950 in Midland City, AL and lived there most of her life. She was a 1968 graduate of Dale County High School and later attended Wallace Community College where she pursued a degree in accounting. Mrs. Bryant was employed as a seamstress for several years and then later worked at Citgo where she enjoyed engaging with her regular customers until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of Daleville Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryant loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and listening to music when her brothers got together to play the guitar. She was a caring and loving person who was always willing to help anyway she could. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bryant; her parents, Roy Albert and Beatrice Whitehead; and her siblings, Eugene Whitehead, Virginia Burch and Larry Whitehead.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her children, Joseph (Angel) Bryant and Samantha Bryant; grandchildren, Tristan Bryant, Chetnie Bryant, and Clayton Adkins; her siblings, Onise Jeanette (O.D.) Brackins, Ann (Lamar) Henderson, Jerry Albert (Brenda) Whitehead, Billy Joe Whitehead, Edward (Judy) Whitehead, Joyce (Delbert) Chandler, and Jackie (Debbie) Whitehead; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
