OZARK…Mrs. Lynda Darlene Moss McWhorter, a resident of Ozark, died late Sunday evening, April 3, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 57.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lynda would give you the shirt off her back and if it didn’t fit, she would buy you a new one along with anything else you needed. She was a kind and caring person. Her favorite hobbies were crafts, repairing watches, dumpster diving with Big Mama, curb alerts, thrift stores, and yard sales. One can’t forget her love for Tudsi Orange Cream Sicles. These were all some wonderful things that made her so happy.

We hope that when she gets to heaven, she will see all the glories and treasures she didn’t have on earth. He is a kind God and gave us a chance to get closer to her. We will have these wonderful memories forever.

Surviving relatives include her sons, Christopher McWhorter and Rusty McWhorter mother, Diane McBroom, Ozark; father, Doug Moss (Marie), Catawba, SC; siblings, Phyllis McManus (William), Daleville and Debi Rollins, Ozark; aunts, Laura Lee Kimbrell, Rock Hill, SC, Merle Helms, Monroe, NC, Blanche Vinson, Gray, GA, Becky Daniels, Mound City, KS, and Johnny Laney, Indian Land, SC;; grandchildren, Kaylee, CJ, David, Shane, and Paisley; nieces, Brooke McManus (Bobby), and Nikki (Emmett).

Special thanks to Chris, Daniel, and friends for your support and love. We will miss her and love her more than she could ever know.
