Mrs. Margaret Betty Elizabeth Temples of Dothan passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at her residence. She was 76.


 


Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends James Bradley and Terry Drinkwater officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2013, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to Eastside Freewill Baptist Church, Annas Place, Attn: Linda Speed, 1679 E. Main St. Dothan, AL 36301, or Covenant Hospice, 104 Rockbridge Rd. Dothan, AL 36303. At other times, the family will be gathered at the home of her sister, Mary Cureton, 429 Edsel Deese Rd, Ashford, Al 36312.


 


Mrs. Temples was a member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to travel.


 


She is preceded in death by her parents, C.S. Tate, Sr and Bessie White Tate, her husband, Howard Temples, two brothers, C.S. Tate, Jr, John Tate, and one niece, Debbie Bass.


 


Survivors include sister, Mary Lou Cureton of Ashford; one niece, Linda Christinsen and her husband, Bobby, three great-nieces, April Rich, Angel Gagliardi, Brooke Tillery, two great-nephews, Blake Tillery and Adam Christinsen, several great-great-nieces and nephews, and one special nephew, Glen Temples.
