Margaret Joyce Pilgrim, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at her residence. She was 82 at the time of her death.

Services for Mrs. Pilgrim will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 24, 2013, in Clearman Chapel with Reverend Paul Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Pilgrim was born November 15, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama. She later moved to Albany, Georgia where she resided with her beloved husband, Bert Jefferson Pilgrim. Mrs. Pilgrim was a member of the Moose Lodge in Albany, Georgia, on several bowling teams and loved to dance. She was a homemaker, pillar of strength and best friend to her daughters.

Mrs. Pilgrim is preceded in death by two sons, Randall Edward Snider and William Frank Ainsworth.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Preston, Panama City Beach, Florida, Sherry Pilgrim, Dothan, Alabama, Laura Edwards and her partner, Mike Weldon of Vandiver, Alabama; grandchildren, Serena Knight, Timothy Love, Joseph Love, Daniel Love, Chris Love, Cindy Maples; great grandchild, Nik Knight and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
