OZARK…. Mrs. Margaret Windham Chancey, a resident of Ozark, died Monday afternoon, August 17, 2020 in an Ozark nursing home. She was 84.

            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Chancey, daughter of the late Otis and Mattie Bell Windham, was a health care provider graduating from Wallace Community College School of Nursing. She was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church. Mrs. Chancey was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Fordyce; brother, Lunie Windham and a sister, Mildred McLendon.

            Surviving relatives include two sons, Gary Chancey, Ozark and Greg Chancey, Apalachicola, FL; four brothers, Malcolm Windham, Earl Windham, Billy Windham, and Phillip Windham; three sisters, Virginia Turner, Bobbie Miller and Faye Rathgen.
