Mrs. Marjorie Elouise Yarbrough of Geneva, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was 74.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Hospice Chaplain Chris Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 20, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born July 26, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ronald and Ruth Dorris. She enjoyed traveling and working in her flower gardens. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, three children: Joan Davis, Lisa Prescott and Joey Prescottt as well as one sister, Sandra Dorris, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Randal Yarbrough of Geneva; four children: John (Christine) Lilly, Mark (Sharon) Lilly, Randy (Hidie) Yarbrough and Karen (Ricky) Stokes; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Helms, Tony Clemmons, James “Jabo” Gilley, Steve Bowdoin, Lloyd Stinson and Travis Gross.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and also her personal caregivers, Krystal Ogburn, Kimmy Mitchum and Tammy Carpenter, for the loving care that was extended to their loved one.
