Obituary: Mrs. Mary Jane Hatcher
Mrs. Mary Jane Hatcher of Hartford went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 28, 2012 at SAMC. She was 68.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, in the New Post Oak Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charlie Glover and Jerry Norris officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Mrs. Hatcher will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to New Post Oak Assembly of God Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Hatcher was born on January 31, 1944 in Geneva County to the late Charlie Harmon and Lettie Lorean Fondren Cox. Mrs. Hatcher was a very loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. She was a member of New Post Oak Assembly of God Church for several years.
In addition to her parents, one brother, Johnnie Cox and one sister- in- law, Betty Sue Cox preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Hatcher of Hartford; one son, Tracy Hatcher of Hartford; two grandsons: Colby and Cody Hatcher both of Hartford; one sister, Delores Peterson (Jerry) of Hartford; three brothers: Charles Cox of Hartford, Henry Cox (Cheryl Sue) of Slocomb and Jim Cox (Paula) of Yougstown, FL; one sister in law, Sara Cox, of Slocomb and several nieces and nephews.
