Mrs. Mary Lois Dickerson of Ashford passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center following a long illness. She was 79.

 

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Frith Hill Assembly of God cemetery with Reverend Coley Holloway officiating, Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012.

Mrs. Dickerson was a wife, mother and grandmother that loved her family and loved to cook for them. She was retired from the textile industry.

Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her parents, William and Earline Fowler and an infant daughter.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Elbert Dickerson of Ashford; three daughters , Judy Stanton (Bill) of Marianna, FL ; Linda Mathis and Maxine Halford (George) both of Dothan, AL; Grandchildren, Kim Case of Tampa, FL; Travis Brookins of Marianna, FL; Michael Mathis (Wendy) of  Dothan, AL; Chase Mathis of Dothan, AL and Kay Creamer (Jeff) of Newton, AL
