Obituary: Mrs. Mary Louise Ferrarelli

Our Most Beloved Mary Louise Ferrarelli, 84 years of age, has gone to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on July 16, 2018.

She was born Mary Louise Victorero on October 27, 1933 to Jose and Maria Victorero.  Louise was reared in Tampa, Florida in a small community called Palmetto Beach.  She graduated from Hillsborough High School and went on to become an X-ray technician.

Her grandparents came through Ellis Island in the late 1800’s from Sicily, Italy and settled in the Tampa Bay area. A memorial dedicated to the Spanish and Italian immigrants that came to live in the Tampa Bay area stands in a square in Ybor City.  This memorial shows a young family coming to United States for a better life.  The statue has hundreds of names engraved on the bottom of the statue and her grandparents, mother, aunts and uncles names are engraved there for all posterity.

In 1953 she married Joseph A. Ferrarelli and moved to New Jersey.  Her family lived in and grew up in Jackson, New Jersey for 48 years.  At that time, she worked as a bus driver to continue her education in the X-ray field and worked for Dr. V. Demuro for many years.

After retirement, she and Joe moved to Toms River in a retirement community.  She attended New Beginnings Christian Church in Bricktown, New Jersey where she found her calling.  She worked in the food pantry and her passion was feeding and praying for the people in most need of spiritual guidance and help.  She was a prayer warrior with a love for all people.

After the death of her husband, she moved to Hartford, Alabama and lived with one of her sons.  In Hartford, she attended Shiloh Baptist Church where she found a new Christian family whom she loved.

Louise was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and sister to her family.  She not only provided for her family but was most loving and giving to her children.  She gave all she had, including giving her heart to Jesus.

Louise will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jose and Mary Victorero, her husband, Joseph A. Ferrarelli and sisters: Connie Perez and Toni Wheeler all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Michael Ferrarelli, Patricia Ferrarelli, Richard Ferrarelli and Kenneth Ferrarelli; sister, Linda J. Hernandez; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Hall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Louise’s memory with your contribution the Shiloh Baptist Church Food Pantry.
