Mrs. Mary Pippin Smith, a resident of Daleville, was called home to Heaven by the Lord to be with her loving husband early Friday morning, April 30, 2021. She was 71 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Smith were held Sunday, May 2, 201, in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jud Waldrop officiating. Interment followe, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mrs. Smith was born March 17, 1950 in Hartford, Alabama and had lived in Daleville for the past thirty years. She was a member of Daleville Baptist Church where she was involved in the R. A.’s and Children’s Ministries. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 45 years, James Albert Smith; and her parents, Louie Clyde Pippin and Mary Esther Simmons Pippin. She and her husband were inseparable and we know they are rejoicing together now in Heaven.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jamala and Brad Moore of Enterprise; two sons, Kendall James Smith of Daleville and Stanley Albert Smith of Jack; three grandchildren, Jasmine Smith, Brayton Moore, and Briley Moore.
