Mrs. Mary Sheralyn Grice McDonald age 84 of Westville, Florida passed away at her home on Thursday, July 2, 2020.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church, Westville, Florida with the Revs. Wayne Brannon, Thomas Ealum and Cloys Joiner officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Church before the funeral service.
Sheralyn was born February 20, 1936 to the late John Solomon and Clara Bell Huggins Grice in Westville, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive AOG Church where she was the secretary for 30 years. She was a very forgiving person and loved the Lord. She loved playing cards with her grandchildren and was a great cook.
Preceded in death by son: William Elton (Bill) McDonald Jr: two sisters: Martha Gafford, Clara Clovette Grice and brother: John Wayne Grice.
Survived by: Husband: William Elton McDonald, Westville, Fl: daughter: Sandra Pope (Jeffery) : son: Gregory Scott McDonald of Westville, Fl: Four grandchildren: Kyle Pope, Kassandra Day (Billy), Bradly McDonald (Heather) and Megan Forehand (Matthew): five great-grandchildren: Naomi and Isaac Esparza, Makayla and Cielo Day, and Seanna Sheppard with two greatgrandchildren on the way: brother: Richard Grice (Charlie Faye) of Pensacola, Fl; sisters; Karen Hammac of Wetumpka, Al and Evelyn Gengenbacher (Jerry) of Qunicy, IL.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers at Emerald Coast Hospice who treated her with love and compassion, especially, Regina, Nicole and Courtney.
