Mrs. Melba Lee Finley, of Midland City, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Oakview Manor in Ozark. She was 92.


 


Born March 9, 1925 in Houston County to the late Jefferson Rice and Minnie Lee Adams Rice, Melba was a member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, and cooking.


 


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, May Gardner.


 


Melba is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Gary) Grayson and Bonita Raybon; her sons, Donnie (Sharon) Finley and Roger (Loretta) Finley; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rob Oates officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service.


 


The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 2570 Montgomery Highway #2, Dothan, AL 36303.
