Michele Faulk, 58, of Midland, MI passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Her departure was the earthly conclusion of a lifetime spent as a priceless example of selflessness, graciousness, and love for others.
She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter with a radiant smile and sweet, willing disposition that encouraged all she met. Her full-time dedication to the Lord was reflected throughout her adulthood, and she served in a series of ministry-related roles that transported her across the globe. At the time of her death, she was ministering alongside her husband as a Baptist missionary to Southeast Asia.
In addition to juggling positions such as Sunday School teacher, English instructor, and office administrator, Michele quietly strove to bring glory to her Savior in all she did, cheerfully reflecting His grace and love throughout every community she visited. Next to her love for the Lord, her family was her greatest passion, and the world was her family. The impact she left is immeasurable—felt by thousands for generations to come.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Timothy Faulk; four children: Benjamin (Lovinda) Faulk, Emily (Chase) Vaughan, Seth Faulk, James (Julie) Faulk; and two grandchildren, Charles and Henry who deeply loved their “MeMe.” She is also survived by her mother, Phyllis Nuffer; brothers: Andrew Nuffer, Daniel (Jackie) Nuffer, and Thomas (Carol) Nuffer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Midland Baptist Church, 5009 Jefferson Ave, Midland, 48640 with officiation by Pastor Jim Payne and Michele’s husband, Missionary Tim Faulk. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, July 7 th at Smith-Miner Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service.
