Mrs. Minnie Lee Bennett-Barwick, 73 of Dothan passed away Saturday August 24, 2013 at a local hospital.
Services will be 3 pm Saturday August 31, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Lowe, Jr. officiating and Robert Byrd directing. Family receiving friends following services.
Mrs. Barwick was born on August 23, 1940 in Dale County to the mother of Ruby Lee Baker and David Dooney Stuckey. She lived Midland City for the majority of her life, where she graduated Valedictorian of her class from Pinkard High School. She was employed by the Dale County Health Department as a home health Aide until she retired. After retirement her primary work was becoming a regular pioneering as a Jehovah Witness.
Survivors include sons Cleveland Bennett Jr., Stanley Bennett; daughters Debra Ann Jackson, Connie Michelle Goodwin; grandchildren Collin Nathaniel Bennett, Whitley Ciara Frazier, Landon Jamain Goodwin and Eric Neal Goodwin; great-grandchildren Coliana Bennett and Triston Bennett and a host of cousins also survive.
