Mrs. Nancy Joann Powell, age 85, of Dothan, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Born October 4, 1938 in Lakeland, Florida to the late Randall Snowden Brackin and Beatrice Kennedy Brackin, Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church of Dothan. She was an avid Alabama football fan who enjoyed camping and fishing at different lakes in the area, especially Lake Arrowhead. Nancy also enjoyed playing cards, especially Hand and Foot with her friends. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM  Wednesday, November 29, at the First Baptist Church of Dothan, AL with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Powell; and her brothers, Richard Brackin and James Randall Brackin.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Power; her daughter, Cynthia Falzone (Raymond); her granddaughter, Savannah Birks; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
