OZARK…Mrs. Nancy Vincent Turner, a resident of Ozark, died early Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023, in Westside Terrace in Dothan. She was 83.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Newton City Cemetery with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Turner, daughter of the late Raymond Vincent and Nancy Johnson Vincent, was a native of Towanda, Pennsylvania. She moved to Dale County in 1967 and returned to Pennsylvania in 1972. Mrs. Turner returned to Dale County with her husband in 1979. She was formerly employed with Van Heusen in Ozark for several years. Mrs. Turner enjoyed reading books and listening to the old gospel music. She attended Ozark First Assembly of God Church in Ozark in earlier years. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Turner; grandchildren, Vincent Turner and Eric Michael Chandler.
Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Jeannie Sue Johnston, Huntsville and Rebecca Faith Johnson (Chuck), Hueytown; her son, Paul D. Turner (Sandy), Dothan; five grandchildren, Jessica Eubanks (Brad), Justin Miles Johnston, Josh Johnston (Faith), Lea Turner and Claire Chandler; four great-grandchildren.
