   Mrs. Nellie Ann Jordan Pyle, a resident of Ozark, passed away September 27, 2024, in Dale Medical Center. She was 82 years old.


   Funeral services for Mrs. Pyle will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend David Elliote, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


   Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Pyle was born October 15, 1941 in the Shellhorn Community near Troy, Alabama to the late Jefferson David Jordan and Durah Lee Edwards. Mrs. Pyle worked with GTE as a telephone operator until her retirement. Following her retirement, she worked for many years in the lunchroom at Vivian B. Adams School where she enjoyed preparing meals for all the children there. She loved to crochet and take care of the flowers around her home.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Glenwood Pyle; one sister, Janice Black; and two brothers, Cecil Lavon Jordan and Aaron Jordan. She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Larson (John) of Ozark; and one son, Reverend David Elliote (Beth Ann) of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two step-daughters, Tana Lawrence (Klell) of Enterprise and Pamela Bell (David) of Ozark; one step-son, Glenn Pyle (Melinda) of Ozark. Eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
