Mrs. Nora Jeanette Hinson of Headland passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was 79.


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Don Clark and Billy Gene Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Flowers will be accepted.


Mrs. Hinson was a graduate of Cottonwood High School and attended Riley Business College. She was a lifelong resident of Dothan. She was president of the American Business Womens’ Association, served on the National Peanut Festival Board, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was co-owner of Hall’s Wholesale Florist with her husband Ed Hinson.


She is preceded in death by her parents L.C. Cameron and Loice Dickerson Cameron.


Survivors include her husband of 61 years Ed Hinson of Headland; daughters Lisa Krueger (Steve) of Huntsville; Nikki Mims-Utnick (Kevin) of Headland; brother Don Ray Cameron (Ann) of Birmingham; grandchildren Foster Krueger of Pensacola, Fl.; Kaylie Mims of Headland; Conner Mims (Adrianna) of Japan; Lacey Utnick of Headland; Lainey Utnick of Headland; and great-grandchildren Isiaah Windham of Headland and Stormie Windham of Headland.
