Pamela Dollar McLaney, a resident of Gordon, Alabama died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at her home. She was 69.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at her residence, 1820 State Highway 95N, Gordon, Alabama 36343.


Pamela was born in Malone, Florida on September 9, 1954, to the late Hugh and Verna Willis Dollar. After graduating high school, she obtained her Cosmetology Degree from Highly Turner. She retired after thirty years from The Kutt Above. Her hobbies included taking care of her horses and working crossword puzzles. Her family was the joy of her life and spending precious time with them always came first. She was a loving wife to the love of her life Dewey Steve “Mac” McLaney for forty-five years. Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.


Pamela was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Dawn Floyd; two brothers; and seven sisters.


Left to cherish her memories are a daughter, Deanah Floyd (Kenny Woodham); two grandsons, Dusty German, and Kyle German, three great grandsons, Kayden German, Logan German, and Triton German; two great granddaughters, Temperance German, and Ariel German; a brother, Curtis Dollar; a sister, Wanda Chaney; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
