Mrs. Pamela Kay Bryant Thomas, age 60, of Cottonwood, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014.
Born March 5, 1954 in South Charleston, West Virginia to Sherman L. Bryant and the late Sarah Frances Hutchinson Bryant, Mrs. Thomas attended Madrid Baptist Church and was an avid gardener who loved flowers, raising chickens, and photography. She loved her family including her black lab, Bentley.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by brother, Joseph Bryant and her sisters-in-law, Juanita Bryant and Karen Bryant.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ronnie Thomas; her son, Ronald W. Thomas II; her daughter, Stephanie Spalding (Alan), her step-daughter, Tammy Sue Everett; her father, Sherman L. Bryant; her father and mother-in-law, Cecil and Audrey Thomas; her sisters, Debbie Hunnings (Kevin), Rosemary Wigmore (Al), Becky Thames (David), and Frances Marie “Sis” Martin (Scott); her brother, David Bryant; her grandchildren, Tamara, Beth, Jessica (Justin), Brittney (Eric), Angela, Kimberly, Krista, Sadie, and RJ; her great-grandchildren, Khloe, Naomi, Chloe, Alex, Lachlan, and Rachel; her bestest buddies, Wendy McDonald, Diane Hollinger, and Diane Walker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Madrid Baptist Church with Brother Jayson Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Madrid Baptist Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be RJ Churchwell, Eric Woodard, Nick Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Krista Everett, and Anthony Woodard.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Alan Spalding, Larry May, Robert Walker, Matthew Beswick, and Nathan Powell.
