Mrs. Patricia Ann (Patty) Burch of Dothan passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at the age of 84.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Dothan Country Fellowship at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley Place on Honeysuckle or Dothan Country Fellowship in memory of Patty.

Patty was a “special lady” and loved by all. Her heart was filled with the “spirit of giving.” She gave of herself to her family and was a devoted wife and caring mother.

She was a “Pink Lady” at Scott County Hospital where she enjoyed helping families and lifting their spirits.

After her family, her next enjoyment was her Scottsburg, IN church family at First Christian. Her involvement was vast from Sunday School, Wednesday night suppers, socials, welcome committee, to over-seeing the Food Pantry. She enjoyed going on her “Young at Heart” trips.

Her favorite family trips was to the “Great Smoky Mtns” and attending state/world Horseshoe Pitches with her husband of 67 years. She would love to ride in the car anywhere to admire God’s  beauty. “We will forever love you.”

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Silence, Owen Arnold and Dorothy (Silence) Arnold and sister Shirley Cain.

Survivors include her husband Arthur Burch of Dothan, Lisa Patton (Tom), Scottsburg, IN, Melanie Burch Hadley, Dothan, sisters Phyllis Silence, Scottsburg, IN, Debbie Courtney, Madison, IN, brothers Ken Arnold (Susie), Columbus, IN, Eddie Arnold (Teri), Lexington, IN, grandchildren Krista Pulliam, Aaron Pulliam (Courtney), Kylah Hadley, Deborah Hadley, Tracy Patton (Christy), Kim Preston (Eric), great-grandchildren Devin Spaulding, Peyton Preton, Bryson Haven, Kaden McLemore, Logan Cottingham, Natalee and Baylee Pulliam, Hiroshi Ryan, and an abundance of nephews, nieces and the extended Burch family and friends.

A special thank you to her extended Wesley Place on Honeysuckle family, caregivers, nurses and staff.
