Patricia Ann Peacock Holland, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday Sept. 1st 2015 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was 76 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Holland will be held at 10 AM Saturday September 5, 2015 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Addis Habbard and Reverend Mark Brackin officiating. Burial will follow in Big Creek United Methodist cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to; Patricia Holland Memorial Fund Madrid United Methodist Church P.O. box 5568 Dothan, Al. 36302
Mrs. Holland was born May 23, 1939 and a lifelong resident of Houston County. She was the daughter of Hugh Dorsey Peacock and Lota Lee Lott. She founded Holland Machine Shop and Holland Manufacturing in 1965 with her lifelong partner, the late Doyle Holland. Mrs. Holland loved gardening, cooking, sewing, antiquing, raising quarter horses, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association, Olympia Home and Garden Club, and Madrid United Methodist Church.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Peggy Peacock Collins, and a brother Rickey Peacock, and a brother in law Mickey Wayne Holland.
Survivors include a daughter and three sons, Patricia Kaye and husband, Wade Everett, Gregory Doyle and wife, Kim Holland, Steven Morgan Holland, Keith Allen and wife, Amanda Holland; two sisters, Shirley and husband, David Carrol, Brenda and husband, Pat Bradley, brother, Hugh and wife, Mary Peacock; ten grandchildren, Amber Holland-Smith and husband, Justin Smith, Patricia Roberts, Lee Ann Roberts, Marcee Holland, Heather Lane, Syndi White, Isabell Holland, Brooke Holland, Colt Holland, Gracie Holland; and five great-grandchildren, Micheal and Clayton Bass, Holland, Hudson, and Henley Smith.
