  Mrs. Patricia Jean Clenny Burge, a resident of the Echo Community, died Thursday, September 19, 2024, at her home. She was 67 years old.


   A memorial service for Mrs. Burge will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Phillip Pinyan officiating.


   Mrs. Burge was born December 21, 1956 in Waco, Texas. She moved to Ozark in 2002 where she worked with Phillips-Van Heusen, Logan’s Cleaners and Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Rucker. She loved to go antiquing and exploring Alabama with her husband, plants and animals, especially cats.


   She is survived by her husband of 22 years, William Henry “Will” Burge of Echo; three daughters, Amanda Godesik (Tim) of Alvin, Texas, Carrie Lynch (Danny) of Webster, Texas and Ashley Naylor (Cabe) of Alvin, Texas; one son William Burge (Annie) of Alvin, Texas; three sisters, Shirley, Cindy and Annette; one brother, Carl Clenny. Thirteen grandchildren also survive.


   Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society, P. O. Box 2502, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
