EWELL COMMUNITY…Mrs. Phyllise W. “Pat” Coleman Mangum, a resident of the Ewell Community, near Ozark, died Monday morning, January 9, 2023, in an Ozark nursing home. She was 81.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mangum, daughter of the late William M. Coleman and Phyllis W. Cameron Coleman, was a native of New York. She formerly lived in California and Reno, Nevada, before moving to Ozark in 2003. Mrs. Mangum was formerly employed with Harrah’s Casino in Reno as a Food and Beverage Manager. Following her move to Ozark, she was employed with the Ozark-Dale County Public Library as a library clerk. Mrs. Mangum was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Paul D. Coleman and wife, Delores.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Larry J. Page, Jr. (Myrna), Palatka, Florida and Phillip A. Page (Marie), Bakersfield, California; a sister, Pamela Huggins, Port Orange, Florida; a brother, Peter D. Coleman (Betty), Ozark; four grandchildren, Laura, Rubi, Ken, and Veronice.; several nieces and nephews.
