OZARK…. Mrs. Roberta Lanell Clark Harness, a resident of Ozark, died late Friday evening, January 1, 2021 in an Ozark nursing home. She was 97.


            Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2021 in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.


            Mrs. Harness, daughter of the late James Frank Clark and Mary Elizabeth Harris Clark, was a native of Seminole County, Oklahoma. She was retired from Austin Independent School District, Austin, TX as a Cafeteria Manager after thirteen years of employment. Mrs. Harness moved to Ozark in 1991 and was a member of Bridlewood Chapel Church in Ozark. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Kenneth Darwin Harness; son, Gregory L. Harness; sister, Louise Scott; brother, Elmer Clark.


            Surviving relatives include her son, Kenneth C. Harness (Marie), Ozark; sister, Faye Trimble (Tommy), Andrews, TX; grandson, Kenneth Scott Harness, Ozark; two granddaughters, Helen Faria (Bobby), San Lorenzo, CA and Sarah Herburger (Justin), Calhan, CO; two great-grandchildren, Skyler and Leila Grace Herburger, Calhan, CO; a great-great granddaughter, Abby Faria, San Lorenzo, CA and several nieces and nephews.
