Obituary: Mrs. Rosie Lee Warren
Mrs. Rosie Lee Warren of Slocomb passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 85.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Coley M. Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Warren was born on June 5, 1927 in Slocomb to the late James and Georgia Stewart Boutwell. She was the rock of her family. Memories of her will be cherished by generations of loved ones.
In addition to her parents, one sister, Lula Lee Boutwell; and eight brothers: Arthur Boutwell, Grover Boutwell, Jim Boutwell, Jr., Shellie Boutwell, Fletcher Boutwell, Woodrow Boutwell, Hubert Boutwell and Buddy Boutwell all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two daughters: Lola Ellenburg (Gayle) of Wicksburg and Joan Warren of Slocomb; one son, Bruce Warren of Slocomb; five grandchildren: Robert Leon Fordham III, Tory Hargrave (Walter), Todd Dorriety (Meghan) all of Slocomb, Felicity Hall (Brandon) of Ft Walton, FL and Josh Kendell (Jessica) of Mobile; 14 great grandchildren: Braden Odum, Shelby Hargrave, Emma Grace Hargrave, Brittany Fordham, Justin Fordham, Caleb Fordham, Jared Fordham, Sebastian Hall, Rhiannon Hall, Karliah Hall, Connor Dorriety, Madalynn Dorriety, Aiden Kendell and Maddox Kendell; one great great grandson, Davion Isaiah Fordham; three sisters-in-law: Margaret Boutwell, Rufesta Boutwell and Betty Boutwell all of Slocomb; and several nieces and nephews.
