Mrs. Sandra Faye Woodham Worley of Cottonwood passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011.  She was 63. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, in Union Hill Baptist Church (Cottonwood Highway) with Rev. Mike Glenn, Rev. George Thompson and Rev. Rob Lightsey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Sandra will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to American Heart Association.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until service time. 

Sandra was born on October 3, 1948 in Geneva County, AL to Dessie Mae Woodham and the late Ponie B. Woodham.  She was employed in the Buyer Material Management Department with Spun Steel in Dothan for over 20 years.  Sandra was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Her husband, Joe Worley, as well as her Dad preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother:  Dessie Mae Woodham of Slocomb; two sisters: Shelia Smith, Jean Kirkland (Lamar) all of Slocomb; one brother:  Jerry Woodham (Sonia) of Dothan; two nephews:  Corey Kirkland (Amy) and Charles Smith; one great niece:  Henley Grace Kirkland.
