Mrs. Sarah Jordan Jenkins, age 86, of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Born August 30, 1935 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Clarence Eugene Jordan and Delia Inez Anderson Jordan, Sarah was an artist. In addition to painting, she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Jenkins; her daughter, Dorcus Pittman; two brothers and four sisters.

Sarah is survived by her daughters, Maria Morrison, Toni Lassiter (Jimmie), Jo Uphold, Dawn Snell, and Elaine Torrence (Greg); 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her sister, Gayle Howell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, March 11, 2022 at River Falls City Cemetery with Reverend Larry Jenkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to King’s Home, P. O. Box 162, Chelsea, AL  35043.
