   Mrs. Sarah Pearl “Sally” Wallace Sharpe, a resident of Ashford, Alabama, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away early Saturday morning, August 27, 2022. She was 89 years old.


   Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Greg Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home in Ozark from 9:30 A.M. until service time.


   Mrs. Sharpe was born July 17, 1933 in Mount Olive, Alabama to the late William Alvis Wallace and Eula Pearl Burgett Wallace. She was a member of Leeds Church of Christ in Leeds, Alabama and attended services at Northside Assembly of God Church in Dothan on occasion when she could. Throughout her 89 years, Mrs. Sharpe is most often fondly remembered for being spunky, a character and funny.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Dona, William, Jeff, Mary Frances, Glen, Margaret and Jerry.


   She is survived by her three children, John Sharpe (Alecia) of Odenville, Alabama, Jada Sharp Lawson and Jana Cooper (Daniel) all of Ashford, Alabama; three grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
