OZARK… Mrs. Saundra Keel Snell, a resident of Ozark, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Friday morning, April 29, 2022. She was a resident of the Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 80.


            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Parkway, Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303.


            Mrs. Snell was born March 17, 1942, in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Donald and Geneva Welborn Keel. She was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Snell, whom she married in 1959. They owned and operated Snell Floor Covering in Ozark for over twenty-eight years.


            Surviving relatives include her son, Brent Snell (Angie), Skipperville; grandson, Cody Snell (Ilia), Pike Road, AL ; three sisters, Pat Lewis (Bill), Dalton, GA, Anita Taylor (Bobby), Gray, GA, and Betty Dunn (Roy), Ozark; a brother, Donald Keel (Linda), Ozark; brother-in-law, James Snell (Gayle), New Brockton; several nieces and nephews.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Ricky Miller, Jeffrey Kellum, Daulton Keel, Kevin Snell, Matthew Dunn, and Nathan Dunn.
