DALEVILLE… Mrs. Sharon Ann Petary Yocom, a resident of Daleville, died late Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022, at her home. She was 80.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Grace Assembly of God Church Cemetery, near Newton, with Reverend Ray Layton officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Mrs. Yocom, daughter of the late Jesse Franklin Petary and Madge Josephine Brown Petary, was a native of Lurray, Missouri. She formerly lived in Iowa and various other locations in the United States while her first husband served in the United States Army. Mrs. Yocom moved to Dale County in 2010 and attended Grace Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Petary; three brothers, Franklin Petary, Lawrence Petary, and Terry Petary.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Mr. Joe Yocom, Daleville; five sons, Charles Lee Fisher, Jr. (Candy J.), Daleville, Johnny Ray Fisher (Carol S.), Decatur, IL, Kevin Wayne Fisher (Rhonda), Enterprise, Tomas Joe Fisher (Judith), Pensacola, FL, and Kenneth Eugene Fisher (Crystal), Daleville; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
