Mrs. Shirley Ann Outlaw, of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was 80.


 


Born October 1, 1937 in Ariton, Alabama to the late Claude Ziglar and Ocie Velma Jackson Ziglar, Mrs. Shirley retired from GTE after over 30 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, word puzzles, music and dancing. She was also known as an excellent cook.


 


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scottie Green; her sisters, Jeanette Burger, Betty Sue Jones, and Sara Rice.


 


Survivors include her daughter, Sharla (Robert) Pflug; her son, Randy Green; her sister, Reverend Glenda Carlson; her grandchildren, Ricky Green, Cody Pflug, and Chelsea (Jonathan) Pflug Smith; her great-grandson, Nicholas Jackson Chaplin Pflug; numerous other relatives and friends.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, October 27, 2017 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Eddie Biss and Reverend Glenda Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service.


 


The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice.


 


The family would like to say a special thank you to the Staff of Kindred Hospice and the Staff of 7 South at Wesley Place.
