Mrs. Shirley Ann Riebling Monk, a resident of Ozark, died Friday, August 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old.
In keeping with the wishes of Mrs. Monk, graveside services will be private. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Monk was born September 7, 1944 in Gulfport, Mississippi to the late Robert Ervin Riebling and Ernestine Lessie Ratcliff Sonier. Shirley loved the Lord and was a strong independent woman who built a successful career in banking. She will be remembered for her generosity and dedication to family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Monk.
Left to cherish her memories are her dearest friend Ronald Armenta of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Emmie Noble of Wesson, Mississippi; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Willie Dean Davis of Long Beach, Mississippi; one step daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and David Ridgeway of Newnan, Georgia; six grandchildren, Jared (Sarah) Davis, Megan (James) Moore, Jessica (Dennis, Jr.) Cuevas, Mica Noble, Jackson Ridgeway and Conlan Ridgeway; nine great grandchildren, Jacob, Levi, Naomi, Laekyn, Sadie, Layla, Laney, Makhi and Landry; one sister, Fay Viars of Orange Grove, Mississippi.
