Mrs. Susan Word Kendall, age 80, a resident of Dothan died early Friday April 10, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday April 13, 2015 at the Dothan City Cemetery (Lane 8) with Pastor Troy West officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

Mrs. Kendall was born on January 20, 1935 in Dothan the daughter of Brewer Cubi Word and Sadie Bradford Word.  She was retired as a registered nurse.  Mrs. Kendall was a Dothan High School Graduate and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hollingsworth Kendall and by her parents.

Survivors include: two daughters, Cynthia Cathy Burch, Dothan; Sharon Melissa Soto, Cocoa, FL.; two sons, Kenneth Kendall, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; Lyle H. Kendall, Dothan; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
