Mrs. Teresa Lee Porter Revels passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 with her family by her side after an extended illness. She was 62.


 Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Dean Moore and Dr. Rev. Ed Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Assembly of God Church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 9am until 11am at the funeral home.


 Teresa was born December 7, 1958 in Marianna, Florida to the late Kenneth David and Irma Lee Dudley Porter.


 She was an accomplished cook and baker. Her ministry was cooking and baking for her friends and family. During her working career, Teresa was a legal secretary for an attorney, hospital and Pilgrim’s Pride prior to being a substitute teacher throughout the Geneva County school system for the past few years. Teresa was a member of Samson First Methodist Church and later attended Abundant Life Church for a number of years.


 She is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Robert “Bobby” Revels Jr, of Samson, AL, one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Michelle Revels of Samson, AL, one daughter, Molly Georgianna Revels of Samson, AL, three grandchildren, George Matthew Revels, Taylor Brooke Revels and Augustus Grant Revels all of Samson, AL.  


 Serving as pallbearers are David Revels, Carson Brackin, Tony Wood, Chris Green, Chris Franklin, Jason Vinson, Chris Day and Bren Finch.
