Tina Massey, of Dothan, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 62.

A visitation of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the City of Dothan Animal Shelter, 295 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Massey was born on December 17, 1961, in Houston County to the late Wilburn Lester and Gracie Lee Hicks Kimbrough. Tina attended Dothan High School and earned her Associate’s degree from Wallace Community College. She retired from Mia’s Italian Restaurant after more than 25 years of devoted service.

In addition to her parents, a brother Richard Kimbrough, and a nephew Keith Clark preceded her in death.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 34 years, Mark Massey; daughter, Courtney Jensen (Christopher); grandchildren: Tristan Kimbrough, and Lilly Jensen; sisters: Janette Van Slyke (Herb), Theresa Clark, Vanessa Adkinson, and Donna Jenkins; sister-in-law: Judith McKnight; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
