Heaven gained another Crazy Cat Lady, Tommie Jean Rainey went to be with our Lord on May 20, 2024.

Born June 23, 1956, she was just a month away from celebrating her 68th birthday. Tommie was second generation Crazy Cat Lady, but it wasn’t just cats she cared for.  She would never turn her back on any creature big or small, 2 legs or 4, that she felt was in need.  Time and again she put her cat’s needs or the needs of others before her own.  She is fully healed, no longer in pain and able to walk again as she once did.

Tommie is reunited with her husband Bobby, father and mother Johnny and Sandra (the original Crazy Cat Lady of our family) Stewart, and many other loved ones gone before her.

She is survived by her sisters Cindy Hogan, Sherry Glover, daughters Jennifer Williams (James), Jeanette Rathburn (Dan), grandchildren Mandi Evans, Jessica Vance and Jacob Vance, close person friend Billie King as well as several nieces and nephews, and beloved cats.

She requested to not have a service so in lieu of flowers please consider donating to https://heartlandrescueranch.net/donate/ or your favorite animal rescue.
