Mrs. Tottie Faye Adkison Huggins of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. She was 76.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2015, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Jim Mashburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Head United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
Mrs. Huggins was born July 12, 1938, in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Cary and Nettie May Wambles Adkison. In her earlier years she was a dedicated member of Poplar Head United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and attending the Senior Center. Faye was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, two sisters: Mildred Snellgrove and Lillian Johnson, as well as three brothers: Junior, James Wallace and Joseph Ray Adkison, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Allen Gordon Huggins and wife Nancy of Brandon, FL; two daughters: Sherry Ann Williams and husband Mark of Destin, FL and Linda Faye Sims of Dothan, AL; five grandchildren: Meriah Park and husband Ed, Amanda Huggins, Marcus Williams, Kenneth Huggins and Emily Sims; four great-grandchildren: Reed, Eli and Ben Park, and Harper Williams; father of her children, Gordon Huggins; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
