Their journey began as a military family and led them to live in several places before settling in Ozark in 1968. Lucille worked as a lunchroom Lady for a combined 22 years at Eastgate and Mixon Schools. Lucille loved all children so this career was certainly her calling. She was blessed with three children, two sons and one daughter. Lucille loved butterflies, shopping, camping and most of all her family. She was an excellent cook, famous for her biscuits and potato salad. Some of her favorite things were Wendy’s Frosty, Sam’s Hot Dogs “Elvis” and anything chocolate. Her favorite song was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. She was a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church in Ozark and honorary member at VVA Chapter 373 in Ozark, DAV Chapter 84. Lucille will be sorely missed.
