OZARK… Mrs. Vera Marie Rebold, a resident of Ozark, on the morning of September 16h, 2021, surrounded by family in her home, Vera Marie Rebold left her earthly body, and departed this world, to be with Jesus. She was 83.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 17, 2021, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Chaplain Adam Carlee officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Vera was born September 10, 1938, on her family farm in Galion, Ohio where she spent her childhood. She went to Cleveland Clinic and received her registry in Radiology, working a lifelong career in the medical field, until retirement. She met and married her husband Joseph H. Rebold, Jr. December 7th, 1956.
She was a loving Wife and mother and according to her family, one of the best cooks ever! She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh and friends were made everywhere she went, most importantly, Vera was a kind and caring woman who loved her family. She spent her life surrounded by family and friends, which in return, loved her devoutly. Vera would often speak about how much she loved the Lord and her church family. Her life was the epitome of a life well lived. It was filled with hard work, joy, love, family friends and finally peace.
Vera Marie Rebold was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lillian Amos, and Joseph H. Rebold, Jr, her husband of 65 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynnette M. Peters (Jimmy) and Janet A. Peters (Corsey), her sister Vivian Hill (John) and brother Paul Amos (Ankie), her grandchildren, Jeremy Peters, Bryan Peters (Tina), Alon Peters, Leah Roche (Jacob), Hunter Peters (Kimberly). Great grand children, Abigail Peters, Noel Peters, Samantha Peters, John Preston Peters, Ryker Peters.
