Virginia Lake Boyles Mashburn, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Monday, December 11, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 90.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Mashburn was a resident of the wiregrass area for thirty-three years. She was a Registered Nurse by trade, retiring after more than thirty years from Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center. Her hobbies included painting and crocheting. She was married to the late Harold Mashburn for sixty years before his passing in 2019. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, John Boyles.
Survivors include three sons, John Mashburn (Cindy), Mike Mashburn, and Phil Mashburn; sisters, Ruby Langley, and Mary Sue Terro; aunt Margaret Harrell; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
