   Mrs. Virginia Myrl Willis Weeks, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, July 11, 2022, at her home. She was 92 years old.


   Funeral services for Mrs. Weeks will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 15, 2022, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Minister George Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until service time.


   Mrs. Weeks was born April 27, 1930 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Jim and Flossie Skipper Willis, the last of a family of four brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Church of Christ for over 60 years and attended Ariton Church of Christ. Mrs. Weeks worked with White Knight Manufacturing Company in Ozark as a supervisor for over 20 years. She was a great cook who loved working in her garden, growing her own vegetables, sewing and doing crafts.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, K. W. Weeks; one sister, Frances Grantham; four brothers, Lonnie Willis, Franklin Willis, William Willis and Sidney James Willis.


   She is survived by her son, William Vaughn “Van” Weeks of Ozark; her special fur baby, Clawdy; cousins, J. L. Weeks, Betty Pechtel, David Weeks, Ronnie Weeks and many friends.


   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society, P. O. Box 2502, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
