Vivian Daniels Cannady, age 73, of Dothan passed away Friday, January 13, 2017.
Born September 24, 1943 in Dellwood, Florida, Vivian enjoyed fishing and enjoyed working at Michelin before becoming disabled. She had many trophies from her pool tournament days and was also a Powder Puff driver. She will be remembered for her cooking, especially her fried chicken and divinity. She will also be remembered for her caring and honest personality and her love for her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Rogers; her husband, Bobby Cannady; and her sister, Linda Griffen.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Benner; her grandsons, David Benner and Jaden Cannady; her great-grandchildren, Azurea Dunn, Alayah Cook, and Eian Knight; her siblings, Betty Harrison, Donnie Rogers, Connie Rogers, and Kathy McAlpin; several special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, January 16, 2017 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Seale officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM prior to the service. The family will be accepting flowers.
